Computer Music: CME’s new keyboard is pretty in pink

Computer Music / Blog / Sun 18th Jan 2009 18:22 pm

We came across this eye-popping, Hello Kitty-esque MIDI keyboard at the CME stand. It’s their U-Key Mobiletone model, also available in white and blue, if this pink-keyed monstrosity isn’t quite to your taste.

Say’s CME’s slightly garbled press release, “The pink U-key will be focus on female customers. Whether she is a professional keyboard player or a music fan, the Pink U-key fits all her needs and the distinguished the color will make her be noticed.” So ladies, this one’s for you…

"The pink U-key will be focus on female customers," say CME

More info here, if you need to know exactly what this device does, aside from sitting there being pink.

Other notable products on the CME stand included the new SAC Pump monitors – no need for any sarcastic witticisms on our part here, as the product name says more than we ever could. We will, of course, reserve judgment on their audio quality until we’ve plugged in a pair of SAC Pumps and had a good play around with them.
